What is your well-being worth?

Many clients have found the improvements in their relationships and their ability to thrive rather than survive to be well worth investing time and money, even if a plan does not cover them. Many clients also find that their improved success at work and in all areas of their life, makes therapy money well spent.

Benefits

Many Employee Assistance Programs cover counselling fees. SGI, NIHB, and Victim Services, Social Services Claims covering counselling are welcome. When making an appointment, please let us know by whom you are covered. This information may make a difference in your choice of a counsellor. Not all insurance plans will reimburse fees for any counsellor; some will specify whom you see or what type of credentials counsellors must have for you to be reimbursed. For some, benefits may be minimal and used up quickly, so in the long run, you may prefer to go with the therapist who seems to be the best fit for you.

If you wish to use your benefits, please check with your insurance company to determine if the counsellor you would like to see will be covered through your plan. Click here for more information on insurance benefits

While professional counsellors are not the least expensive of the mental health professions, all of our counsellors have met rigorous standards for education and training. They are held to the highest ethical standards. At Bridge Counseling we have a team of trained professionals.

Faith Community Benefits

Some faith communities are able and willing to assist those in their community with counseling fees. Please ask your community or church leader directly. We would be happy to speak and work with them.

Self-employed?

You may have the option of purchasing extended health insurance. You may also be able to use therapy expenses per year as a business expense. Consult your accountant for details on this.
